What is Career Coaching?

Career Coaching connects you with a personal career trainer dedicated to your career success. As your Career Coach, I focus on you while you focus on yourself. I listen intently to what you say and offer feedback and ideas to help you manage career change. I always tell you the truth and protect the confidentiality of our coaching interactions. Through "you-centered" career coaching, I help you clarify what is most important so you can create an action plan for your career path. I do not practice counseling or therapy, and I won't act as your best friend. What I will do is support your journey of self-discovery and honor your commitment to reach your goals. I will challenge you to do your best and always there for you.

Career Coaching Program Policies

Career coaching is done by telephone, usually over the course of several months. Coaching produces long lasting results and is not a quick fix for anything. Contact coach to order services and get a reply within 24 to 48 hours. Call (816) 767-1196 with your questions. Ask about easy monthly payment plans. Together we will make it happen!

Payment Policy: Coaching services are billed monthly in advance to your credit card. Coaching fees vary based upon program. Sessions are scheduled at least one week apart. The Abilities Enhanced® policy states that any session canceled without a 24-hour notice is not rescheduled. Clients pay all long distance phone charges for sessions. Program cancellations require a one-month notice. A 10% discount is given for three- and six-month programs purchased in entirety prior to commencement.

Privacy Policy: Your information is always held confidential and never sold, shared, or given to any other source. This applies to our coaching sessions as well as your online application. We guarantee that your privacy is protected to the extent that the law allows. Client testimonials are published only with permission.

Career Coaching Enhancements

	Career Power Hour—$200. Do you have a single career issue to resolve fast? In this 60-minute, highly intensive hour, we will do laser career coaching to get you to the heart of the matter and help you move forward quickly. (Not for the timid or very talkative or anyone with complex career challenges.)
	Job Interview Coaching—$350. Two 45-minute career coaching telesessions to develop job interviewing strategies. Master situational and behavioral based interviews to become the top candidate! Includes the role playing of tough questions. Create your “CARs” to position your value to potential employers. Fieldwork and unlimited email support between sessions.
	Elevations®—$350. Online career assessment for comprehensive career discovery. Easy to use and understand. Two 45-minute career coaching telesessions for assessment interpretation by a certified career coach. Discuss the assessment results and strategize your next career move. Client is given link to purchase own assessment.
	PCSI©—$150. Personal Communication Styles Inventory© for building rapport with others through improved communication. Eliminate miscommunication that impedes your career. This assessment will give you insight into how others communicate, too. Easy to use and understand. Includes a one-hour phone coaching session for interpretation by coach certified in using this instrument.
	Authentic Vocation™ Worksheets: Series of assignments for exploring values, motivators, interests, and skills to determine what is most important in your career. Results are tested through the “business reality filter” to ensure sound decisions are made prior to creating a career action plan. Included in the 3- and 6-month career coaching programs, and cannot be purchased separately.

Career Coaching for Groups

Experience the group dynamics of sharing, learning and growing your career among peers in a safe environment . Benefits include potential anonymity and cost-shared access to your Career Coach. Group coaching takes place using a teleconference phone line and is scheduled when minimum attendance is met. You pay your own long distance charges and Abilities Enhanced® pays for the phone line. Assemble your own group with persons you know or just sign up for your group of choice. Minimum three-month commitment required with recurring monthly payments made by credit card.
